1) With 30 mm lower, it should not be a problem (if you don't always hv 5 - 6 persons in yr car).
2) I use to change only spring set which is stiffer with standard shock. It's stiffer and better handling but it comes with a future problem of damage to yr shock, anyway. And then you will hv to change shock later. Then you will hv another problem of fitting new shock with yr spring that you previously buy.
Recommend to do it at one shot i.e. buying it as a set if you don't want to handle with the future problem krub.
ANd if you don't want thesuspension to be too rough. Then go for some brand that can be adjustable e.g. Koni.
